Sure, I'm a Broken Record, but So What!?

I am so over Instagram. I don't want a feed full of Reels. I don't want to see a cheeky video of your process with no clear image of the final garment or item. I don't want to deal with flashing or flickering images (it hurts my migraine-suffering brain!).

I haven't been sewing much, but that's okay. This doesn't need to remain a *sewing* blog. I have three primary hobbies now: sewing, machine knitting, and weaving. I am enjoying weaving SO MUCH! I do not use my Cricut very often, but Cricut projects may make an appearance. And perhaps, my beginner foray into flower gardening as a footnote.

I have a few projects going that I'm looking forward to sharing.

A pair of Burda dress shorts

Two machine knitting projects for State Fair entry

A weaving project for State Fair entry

Also, I purchased a seed starting kit and class from Tiny Seeds (http://www.youtube.com/@iamcraftyaf) and am trying my hand at starting a cut flower garden. I am working to grow zinnias and cosmos in pots this year and if all goes well, will be ready to start on a larger scale in the spring.

My last completed weaving project was a set of towels for my niece who got married in June!

A swatch for one of my State Fair entries!

The Burda shorts I'm working on.

My zinnia seedlings!
